Who is this event for?

This event is exclusively for applicants who have received an offer of admission to a graduate degree program (PhD, research master's, or professional master's) at Cornell University.

How can I participate in this event?

You can register for any live virtual session and panel discussion you are interested in. After registering, you can join these sessions live on their scheduled dates and times. If your availability changes, you can update your registration by adding or removing sessions through your profile page. The link to your profile is included in your registration confirmation email. Don't forget to update your calendar to ensure you don't miss any sessions you wish to attend.

When you complete the registration form, you will automatically register for the virtual resource fair, taking place on March 13, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm EST. During this fair, you will have the opportunity to explore Cornell resources and Graduate School offices and to ask any questions you may have after attending the live sessions.

Who will I be able to chat with?

During the live virtual sessions, you can submit your questions through Zoom's Q&A feature. Your questions will be answered as time permits and in the order they are received.

During the resource fair, you will be able to chat live with representatives from offices and programs across campus and the local community that offer opportunities, training, and support to Cornell’s graduate students. The chat is primarily text-based, with an option for audio or video conversations.

How do I access the virtual sessions and attend the fair?

After you submit your registration form, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the website hosting the virtual sessions and the fair. You can access the live virtual sessions through the “Auditorium” tab and the resource fair through the “Exhibit Hall” tab. No additional software download or installation is required to participate. You can access the live sessions using the “Join Now” button.

We highly recommend adding the selected sessions and the fair to your calendar to ensure you don't miss this important information.

The times for the live events are not convenient for me. Can I still participate in the event?

The Cornell Graduate School “You Belong” Live Virtual Series and Resource Fair will remain open until April 15th, 2026. Most sessions will be recorded and made available in the Auditorium the following week. You can view these sessions and visit the booths whenever it is convenient for you during this period. You will be able to view all information showcased in the booths, including documents and pre-recorded videos. Real-time, online connections through the site will not be possible after the March 13th live event has concluded. However, contact information for each booth will be provided, and you can reach out to the representatives with any additional questions.

Can I log in and out throughout the event?

Yes, you can log in and out of the live sessions and resource fair at any time throughout the live event.
